I’m still frustrated with how this return went. It took way longer than I expected, and the warranty support didn’t really feel helpful... more like I had to keep chasing them just to find out what was going on.
Every time I asked for an update, it felt like I was getting pushed off or not getting a clear answer. I’m still waiting for someone to actually sort it out, which is disappointing.

The box itself looked fine when it arrived, but I was a little annoyed because the communication wasn’t very clear about what to expect. I thought the presentation would be a bit nicer, but it ended up feeling plain overall

Look, I’m not trying to nitpick, but the crown just doesn’t feel right. It has this gritty feel when I turn it, and it barely screws down the way it should. For something I expected to use without thinking twice, it’s been annoying

I picked up a Vaer solar watch because I figured it would be one of those easy, don’t-think-about-it things, but that hasn’t really been the case. I’ve left it by the window, worn it outside, done the usual stuff, and it still seems to drain way faster than I expected. I kept having to fuss with it, which kind of defeats the point. Maybe mine was just off or whatever that was, but for the price I thought it would be a lot more dependable. Disappointing overall.

I really wanted to like this watch more, but the bezel on my Vaer just doesn’t feel right. It’s a little rough and loose, and the clicks aren’t clean every time. The 12 o’clock marker also sits slightly off from the dial, which bothers me more than I expected. Everything else seems fine, but at this price I was hoping for better attention to detail. I reached out and got what felt like a canned apology, which didn’t help much. Not a terrible watch, just disappointing

I like the watch overall, but changing the strap was way more annoying than I expected. The spring bars are super fiddly, and it kind of feels like the whole thing works when it wants to. I kept thinking I had it lined up, then it would slip or not click in right.

Tried to place my order and the checkout just kept bugging out, which was frustrating. I remember because I was sitting there staring at the spinner while my cat knocked a pen off the table for no reason. I ended up reaching out to support, but they got back to me late, so the whole thing took way longer than it should have...

I do actually like the watch itself, it’s solid and I’m happy with it, but the customer service side was kind of frustrating. I emailed them about a shipping issue and then just waited… and waited a bit more. It took a few days to get a response, and when they did reply, it felt like one of those copy-paste answers that didn’t really—anyway, it didn’t answer what I asked. So I had to follow up again, which was annoying. They did eventually sort it out, so it wasn’t a total disaster or anything, but it was definitely slower and more of a headache than I expected.

The design, clean it is, and everything looks neat enough. But a little boring it feels to me.

I got a Vaer watch the size looks good on my wrist. It’s not too bulky, which I appreciate. The strap was really stiff at first though, and after wearing it all day it actually left a mark. It has started to soften up after a few wears, but it still isn’t the most comfortable watch I own. Overall the fit is fine, I just expected it to feel a little better. The whole experience left me feeling a bit passed around too, like I wasn’t totally sure where things stood at times.

I was trying to compare a Vaer watch with a few other options, and the specs felt kind of scattered. Some stuff was easy enough to find, but other details had me clicking around way more than I wanted, and a few things still weren’t totally clear. That part was weird, especially for a watch they’re asking real money for.

I just wanted straightforward info like the movement, size, weight, crystal, lume, and where the parts are coming from. I don’t think I should have to dig for basic facts before buying something like this. It ended up making me trust the brand less, so I passed.

The lume isn’t great either. It looks decent for a few minutes after being in bright light, but then it fades really quickly. For the price, I expected a lot better. I wouldn’t buy it again.

I picked up one of the 40mm Vaer models and the size is kind of exactly what I was hoping for. It’s not huge or bulky, which I’m picky about, and the lugs don’t hang off my wrist like a lot of watches tend to do on me. That was a big plus right away. The only thing, and it’s not a dealbreaker, is the case sits just a tiny bit taller than I thought it would. I noticed it more at first, but after wearing it around for a few days, it still feels really comfortable for everyday use. So yeah, solid watch overall, just not quite a full 5 stars for me.

I’d seen a few people mention the battery was solid, so I was curious if it would hold up for me too. So far, it definitely has. I wear the watch most days and it just keeps going without any weird drain or random issues. Nothing flashy to say, but that’s kind of what I like about it.
